Attention - Pediatric Therapists. The Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI), in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, has updated its website (www.ocali.org) with the latest information, links and resources on the prevention, intervention and treatment of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). The site features an overview of FASD, a comprehensive list of available assistance for individuals living with FASD and FASD research and resources. A series of webcasts include FASD 101 and a first-person testimony about living with FASD. The Classroom Prevention Education area features strategies for both educators and school administrators. Additional information about Ohio's statewide FASD initiative is also included along with contact information for parent network representatives.

OHIO A/B Medicare Administrator Contract (MAC). I was notified by National Government Services ( who was notified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) that the Jurisdiction 15 (J15) A/B Medicare Administrator Contract (MAC) has been awarded to CIGNA Government Services. The J15 MAC is for the states of Kentucky and Ohio. As a reminder, MAC is the new term for Medicare Fiscal Intermediary (Part A) and Carrier (OTPP Medicare Part B). Providers in Kentucky and Ohio will be notified of the transition process and dates when the information becomes available. Until the transition to CIGNA is complete, National Government Services is committed to working with the provider community as we have always done, to provide the best education possible and help resolve problems/issues for the providers we serve. I represent Ohio occupational therapy practitioners in the Providers Network Advisory Panel, OOTA will keep you informed as information is available.
